Last June, when I discovered that I could blog photos via Hello! on Blogger, I decided to start up a baby blog to track my pregnancy. After Maya’s birth, this (naturally) morphed into a baby blog, now christened Maya’s Meanderings. As I continued to blog there, I found that there were many topics I wanted to cover that just didn’t seem appropriate for the BABY’s blog…thus, the birth of FTLOG.

It’s not that I’m anonymous here — more that I don’t want to serve up this blog’s location on a platter to my folks. I love them dearly, but once I start blogging about dating (or my thoughts about it), that’s not something I really want to share with them…especially if I’m complaining about my mom’s continuing “hints” that I should get married so Maya can have a father (SIGH). Cool?
