A touch of voyeurism

Him: So, should we have a theme for this wedding?
Me: Hmmm…well, there could be James Bond; that’s nice and elegant. But, would that make me Pussy Galore?
Him: How ’bout you could wear a halo? I could be Molested by an Angel.
Me: Oh! It could be a divine wedding! I’m touched by your noodly appendage.
(uproarious laughter)
God, I love this man.
Yeah, wedding. I said wedding. November is the timeframe we’re working with, and I’m thrilled. He knows me more in depth than most men would after two years of dating, and I trust him with my life.

And Maya will make a beautiful mini-bridesmaid.
CONGRATS!!!
Woah! That’s kinda quick. How long have you two known each other?
Anyway, congratulations!!!! Please keep us posted on the up-coming details of wedding planning (I love that kind of stuff). The Pete and I had to plan our wedding long-distance, so I know all about how stressful yet wonderful it can be.
Your guy is very lucky to have you (when did he propose?). And Maya, too. He’s definitely getting the better end of the deal, in my opinion.
A two-fer of cuteness and womanly charm.
Congratulations!!!!
Wish we were still going to be in town for the big day!
Good Lord! Take a week off blogging and people start making huge life decisions all over the place. Is this Mr. Santa Fe, then?
Congratulations!
We must be polar opposites in romance: I’ve been with my (totally wonderful) man ten years or thereabouts, and only this summer have I been willing to even contemplate marriage - which will *probably* though not for sure, happen next spring. Hell, by then YOU’LL be married and you’ll probably have had a couple more kids. LMAO
What happens when you miss a week of posting?! Congratulations.

we can get creative, but sweetie.. there are LIMITS.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ALLISON! I am so happy for you! He sounds like such a wonderful guy (and is quite handsome too!)
Best wishes for joyous wedding planning!
Alli, my wonderful friend. I am so thrilled for you, in ways that maybe only you and I understand. As to your conversation mentioned here, I always wondered why people wanted a theme for a wedding. Isn’t a wedding a theme already? Hmmmm…looking at this, it is small wonder that people don’t call me a romantic. The guy who did my wedding taught me that the most wonderful words a prospective bride could hear from her groom were, “Whatever you want is okay with me.”
Those I got down pat. The theme of my wedding was, “Whatever she wants”.
Allison…we have a mutual friend..Rick Luoni.
I am so happy for you. I appreciated your comments on my “Jesus in a Megachurch” thing. It was meant to be funny…er serious too.
Nice to see some incarnational theology mixed with James Bond. Delightful.
Blessings…Mac
