I am a small town boy, who loves his momma.
Alrighty, then.
Yes, yes, I KNOW this can be a good thing. I want a guy to love his mother. But for the first sentence of a match.com profile?

My guess is he’s looking for someone to BE his momma (as are most men, I’m told).
I’m not sure about most men (god, I hope not)…but I’ve definitely known some like that. At least one I dated not only wanted me to mother him, but also acted incredibly paternalistic toward me.
Freud would have had a field day with that, huh?
Um, it’s a lousy strategy regardless. Women who want to mother men don’t want to compete with the real momma. Better to find a guy with unresolved mother issues and have him all to yourself. Better still to run far, far, away.
That kinda creeps me out, actually.
