Almost every country in the Middle East has WMDs. So do we! I don't think that is a justification for us to go to war, but let's face it...having WMDs is not a defensive deterrent. They are for offense. Ours have always been used that way. So will theirs. I am more curious to see when Iran or Syria starts asking the UN to broker a cease-fire. That will be an indicator as to when the Israelis are starting to do damage to Hezbollah. For the record, I’m a decided pacifist and do not believe in pre-emptive wars.
