I’m in the process of moving my non-baby blog links from Maya’s Meanderings to here, where they more accurately belong. Mommyblogs and the like will stay there.

I wanted to call attention to a new link I’m adding that isn’t a transfer — her blog is a new one I found today via Grand Rounds at Shrinkette. One of the best parts about reading blogs to me is how much is sparked. I often find that beliefs, desires, and thoughts buried deep within myself come into the light as I read others’ writing! In the case of Other Side of the Couch, I left her a comment, and as I wrote it, finally found a start of a way to describe what I’d like to study in grad school:

At this point, the best way I can describe my area of interest is “the art of becoming” — how from infant to adult someone becomes who they are. Ideally, my work would include personality, social, developmental, and some counseling psych — if I can manage to find the right program to do it!

It’s such a little thing, but it feels so good to have the beginnings of words to describe where I’d like to head!
