So, for a little more than a month (since a friend handed me Blue Like Jazz and told me “You’ll get this.”), Progressive Christianity has been on my radar screen in a big way.

I suppose it’s been more losely on my mind for much longer — since I first heard of the book God’s Politics. My reaction to that book was amazement and excitement — you mean I’m not the only person out here who thinks and believes the way I do? Whodday thunk it? While I’d become comfortable with my beliefs over the years, I have to admit, it feels really good to know that I’m not so…alone.

Today, I found another community — one more place where I can find other blogs to read, perhaps make a few friends, and who knows what else from there: The Progressive Christian Blogger Network. Wow, guess my thoughts on God weren’t so “out there” after all.
